Hammers Bed and Breakfast provides comfortable suites in Tasmania’s northern town of Evandale.

The accommodation is within a modern homestead-style building constructed in 1977 from recovered handmade convict bricks. The suite is appointed with a queen-size bedroom and spacious living area. It includes coffee and tea making facilities, fridge and television/DVD player provided. The modern bathroom includes a full bath with separate shower. The suite has its own private entrance and off-street car parking at the door.

Relax and enjoy a leisurely walk around Evandale and view its many old buildings and beautiful gardens. Take a drive down the Relbia Wine Route, an enjoyable way to spend a few hours in the country. The historic homesteads of Clarendon and Woolmers are only a few minutes’ drive away. As part of the Heritage Highway, Evandale is an ideal base to explore northern Tasmania. Visit the historic town of Longford or make your way to Launceston, the gateway to the Tamar Valley. Indulge in a Tamar River boat cruise or take a leisurely drive along the wine route and taste some of Australia’s best cool climate wines.

Evandale is a short 10-minute drive south of Launceston (22 kilometres/13.67 miles).
