The stucco Georgian building that houses Brown’s Village Store was built in 1843 and fronts The Stables heritage accommodation. It has a magnificent original cedar counter, pine shelving and genuinely friendly service and sells giftware, souvenirs that include Tasmanian-made gourmet produce, magazines and grocery items.
