The Heritage Highway region's festivals and events are a great opportunity to mix with the friendly locals and participate in some traditional country fun!
We are renowned for our agricultural shows, picnic races, family fun days and harvest celebrations. Smaller village festivals reflect our rural lifestyle.
Our region also has several events that are now on the national calendar, including the Tasmanian Trout Expo at Cressy, the National Penny Farthing Championship at Evandale and the John Glover Art Prize and Exhibition at Evandale.
The Heritage Highway connects Tasmania's two largest cities, Hobart and Launceston. To find out about events in other regions, please visit Events Tasmania.
