A Wee Stoatir is a heritage-listed sandstone cottage located in Ross, in Tasmania’s north east.
‘Stoatir’ is a Scottish word meaning fabulous or stunning. The cottage was built in the 1850s and has been uniquely restored. Much of the original joinery and polished floors have been returned. A Wee Stoatir can sleep up to six people in three double bedrooms, each with electric heating. The cottage features a period style bathroom, an elegant dining room adjoining a modern kitchen, a laundry and a cosy living area with large fireplace. There is a TV, DVD Player and sound system with iPod dock available for you to use. Enjoy a blend of modern relaxation and convenience with old world charm.A Wee Stoatir is centrally located between Launceston and Tasmania’s east coast, and a little over an hour’s drive away from Hobart. Stay a while in this old world and enjoy having the cottage to yourself.Continental breakfast is available at an extra charge. Please note there is a minimum of two night's stay.Ross is about an hours’ drive (78 kilometres/48 miles) south of Launceston.Typically a Holiday House is a stand-alone residence for holiday letting which may have several bedrooms allowing a group of guests to stay there together.
