I live in Melbourne and was visiting my son and daughter-in-law who live in Cressy. They took me for a drive on Sunday afternoon to Campbell Town. The park in the centre of town was a welcome sight as it was a lush green, there were loads of people on it, but it didn't seem at all crowded. People were having picnics, playing cricket, kids were on the playground. We had a great time. We had a delicious lunch in Zeps, walked along and checked out all the shops, in one very colourful shop I found a wonderful buddha statue which I knew my wife would love so got that for her, had a look at the beautiful bridge, wandered for a bit along the river, in a shop called A Little Piece of Heaven, (wall to wall lollies and icecream), I got some lollies for my grandchildren and we finished the afternoon off with huge icecreams. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend time with my son.
